Speaker 1: Danny Pehar, President of Cyber Insurance Education

Bio: With more than 15 years experience in the cyber security industry, Danny Pehar is the President & Co-Founder of Cyber Insurance Education and has developed multi-million dollar cyber security projects across North America. Danny is a bestselling author and uses his own Executive Security Storytelling formula to successfully educate organizations on the
fascinating world of cybersecurity and cyber insurance. He’s also built an
engaged television audience through his regular appearances on the Global Morning Show. Danny works very closely with the FBI Cyber Task and has spoken on the topic of cybersecurity and cyber insurance throughout various industries working with numerous Fortune 500 companies


For years it has been crucial to be breach ready, especially now with the
new Pipeda changes that took effect on November 1st. In this day and age
there is a right and wrong way to respond to a breach and *the wrong way is very expensive!*

New regulations regarding mandatory notification, reporting and record
keeping of privacy breaches under Canada’s federal data protection law, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) is officially in effect.
