Dear Members,
It’s hard to believe it’s been four years since I stepped into the role of Chapter President. Looking back, I’m incredibly proud of all we’ve been able to accomplish together – from growing our membership and elevating our events, to building a stronger, more connected community of cybersecurity professionals.
As many of you know, we’re now entering a transition period. New leaders are beginning to step forward, and by January 1st, 2026, we hope to see a refreshed leadership team guiding the chapter into its next chapter. Some of those transitions are already underway.
I want to extend my deep appreciation to our Elections Committee – Rafael Arturo Ramírez, Michael Kinsey and Christina Piazza – for their tireless efforts in supporting this important process. The board will meet shortly to review and ratify their recommendations, and we will communicate the outcome to you soon after.
So far this year, we’ve welcomed 75 new professionals into the chapter – and I’m confident we’ll see that number climb even higher by our Annual General Meeting in November.
Finally, to all our incredible volunteers: thank you. Your energy, passion, and commitment are the reason this chapter continues to thrive. You are truly the best.

J’ai du mal à croire que cela fait quatre ans que j’ai pris mes fonctions de président du chapitre. Rétrospectivement, je suis extrêmement fier de tout ce que nous avons accompli ensemble : de l’augmentation du nombre de nos membres à l’amélioration de nos événements, en passant par la création d’une communauté de professionnels de la cybersécurité plus forte et plus connectée.
Comme beaucoup d’entre vous le savent, nous entrons maintenant dans une période de transition. De nouveaux dirigeants commencent à prendre leurs fonctions et, d’ici le 1er janvier 2026, nous espérons voir une équipe de direction renouvelée guider le chapitre vers sa prochaine étape. Certaines de ces transitions sont déjà en cours.
Je tiens à exprimer ma profonde gratitude à notre comité des élections – Rafael Arturo Ramírez, Michael Kinsey et Christina Piazza – pour leurs efforts inlassables dans ce processus important. Le conseil d’administration se réunira prochainement pour examiner et ratifier ses recommandations, et nous vous communiquerons les résultats peu après.
Depuis le début de l’année, nous avons accueilli 75 nouveaux professionnels au sein de notre section, et je suis convaincu que ce chiffre augmentera encore d’ici notre assemblée générale annuelle en novembre.
Enfin, merci à tous nos formidables bénévoles. Votre énergie, votre passion et votre engagement sont la raison pour laquelle cette section continue de prospérer. Vous êtes vraiment les meilleurs.
